How does knowledge of a nation’s stage of economic development assist a global marketer? This is for my marketing 12 course. Help!

1. I have included a link below that you should read on marketing I think you will find it worthwhile. The marketing environment deals with the macro, micro and internal environment. The macro consists of factors that manifest on a large scale(i.e. macro) such as economic, social and political. A firm would analyze national political issues, culture and climate, key macroeconomic conditions, health and indicators (such as economic growth, inflation, unemployment, etc.), social trends/attitudes, and the nature of technology's impact on its society and the business processes within the society. Think of the impact to your product, branding, strategies, etc, if you were not knowledgable on the stage of economic development to a country, what would happen? Hope this helps.
